About

If you're here because you found an elephant, welcome!

This started as a way to encourage others to remember 26 names, 26 people killed at Sandy Hook Elementary.

But I want it  to move beyond that - because we all have loved ones we've lost, people whose spirits we want to see continue in the world.

Inspired by this project, Elephants Never Forget is both a project to remember people we've lost and bring some handmade love into the lives of others.

Get a free pattern. Make an elephant. Print a tag, and leave your elephant someplace public for someone else to find. If you're so inclined, share your story. And know that your elephant is out there somewhere, and the spirit of love is too.

  1. What a lovely idea. I can't wait to bring elephants to Colorado.
